I want to share a major revelation with you today.
One of the most common limiting beliefs that almost all of us struggle with, whether consciously or unconsciously, is this:
“I'm not good enough…”
In fact, if you've read my 5 Valuable Personal Life Lessons From 2014, you'd realize that perhaps all the trials and tribulations I attracted were due to this deep rooted unconscious belief.
Most of us grow up being subjected to people around us telling us how we didn't or couldn't match up to their standards and expectations. And more often than not, these people are the ones closest to us…
Our parents, teachers, schoolmates and even relatives…
And the more we try to prove them wrong, by studying really hard and getting good grades or trying to please them in whatever other ways we could to get their validation and approval, the more we end up failing…
And we start to believe that maybe… just maybe… there must be something wrong with us.
No, my friend… the only problem is because we are looking horizontally for validation… we are looking at other people to tell us how valuable we are… how we should see ourselves.
Instead, we should be looking vertically upwards and look at how God sees us.
Do you know how God sees you and me?
Imagine for a minute, if I were to ask you to fork out $100 for a nice dress or a pair of shoes… The only reason you would do it is because you value that dress or that pair of shoes much MORE than the $100 you are willing to give up for it, right?
Well, God loves you and I so much that he gave His one and only begotten son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins (John 3:16)
This is how precious we are to Him. This is how much He values and treasures us!

Often, especially after major disappointments, our self-worths take a big hit. I just want to encourage you to turn to Him today and see how He sees you…
You are His Beloved and you're worth much more than the most expensive diamond in the world in His eyes.
