God wants you to prosper

God Wants You To Prosper!

Dear Beloved,

If you have any limiting beliefs about money, this will probably be one of the most important posts you'll ever read…

I want you to know and understand something…

God wants you to prosper.

Yes, God is on your side.

3 John 1:2 – “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

In fact, as you can see, not only does he want you to be rich, he wants you to be abundantly blessed mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually as well…

But wait, Shun-Jian, didn't the bible say that money is the root of all evil?

No actually, if you read 1 Timothy 6:10 carefully, it says:

“For the LOVE of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

Money is meant to be a slave, but when you put money above everything else, it becomes your master.

God wants you to focus on his Son, Jesus, instead. When you focus on Jesus and put him above everything else, you will be greatly blessed.

You see, whatever you put in Jesus' hands multiples. Just look at the miracle of the five loaves and two fish in Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:10-17 and John 6:5-15. Jesus was able to feed 5000 men, besides women and children, with what little he was given and His disciplines were still able to collect 12 basketful of leftovers after!

Matthew 6:31-33 – “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?' or ‘What will we drink?' or ‘What will we wear for clothing?' For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

But what then about the story of the rich young ruler whom Jesus asked to give up all his worldly possessions? (Matthew 19:16-22; Mark 10:17-31; Luke 18:18-30)

Well if you read the story in its proper context, you'd realize that the only reason Jesus did that was to teach him the lesson of humility…

The Law (10 commandments) was given to show man that he can never match up to God's standards which is why he needs a savior.

The young rich ruler was proud and told Jesus that he'd kept all the commandments.

Jesus obviously knew that wasn't true but instead of calling the man a liar, He tested the young rich ruler by asking him to give up all his possessions.

The man left sorrowfully (and humbled), knowing that he could not do what Jesus had commanded him to…

Now, I sincerely hope that you've received a powerful revelation from my post today.

You're precious to Him, and He wants to bless you abundantly. Are you ready to receive your blessings?
