2019 is finally upon us and today I just want to take this opportunity to pray a special prayer of blessings for you and your family that this year will be your BEST year yet…

“Daddy God,

Thank you for everything you’ve done for me… Thank you for bringing me to where I am today.

I thank you for 2018… Even though there are things that have happened that I do not fully understand, I know that everything happens for a reason and that you have a great and wonderful plan for me… (Jeremiah 29:11)

I am ALIVE! I am breathing… I thank you for this awesome NEW year…

God Is BIGGER Than Your Problems!

Beloved, have you ever caught yourself saying things like “I know God is good and that He has helped many others… BUT… you don't understand my specific situation… My XYZ problem is so big…“?

Now, all of us love to believe that we are special… that nobody else can fully comprehend the unique struggles and challenges that we face, right?

You know what? MAYBE that's true… Maybe the particular obstacle you're up against is really one of a kind… but even if that's the case, let me ask you an important question:

“Why are you making your problems bigger than God?”

Today, I just want to show you from the scriptures how awesome our God is… and I hope that by the end of this message, you will receive a fresh revelation of His great love for you!

Let us start with Genesis 31:6-9…

“You know that I have served your father with all my strength, yet your father has cheated me and changed my wages ten times. BUT God did not permit him to harm me. If he said, ‘The spotted shall be your wages,’ then all the flock bore spotted; and if he said, ‘The striped shall be your wages,’ then all the flock bore striped. Thus God has taken away the livestock of your father and given them to me.”

Jacob's father-in-law, Laban, was extremely mean to him. He took advantage of Jacob's love for Rachel to make Jacob work hard for him… BUT God knew what was happening and righted the wrong against Jacob and turned it around to bless him abundantly… That's the beauty of our God!

Now let us look at Genesis 50:20-21…

““You intended to harm me, BUT God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. No, don't be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them.”

Joseph's own brothers betrayed him but God turned it around and used that situation for good and raised Joseph up to be the most powerful man in Egypt beside pharaoh so that he could save many lives…

And after being touched by God's grace… look at Joseph's response… Instead of anger and bitterness towards his brothers, he responded with forgiveness and kindness… That's what grace will do to you!

Next we turn to Isaiah 60:2…

“For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; BUT the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.”

As children of God, we don't have to worry about the darkness because He will be there to shield us, He will be there to rescue us and He will be there to make us shine and be a beacon of light to many for His glory, Amen? =)

Finally let's look at John 16:33…

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; BUT be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

Jesus himself has assured us that even though we may face trials in our life on earth… we should be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. He is already sitting at the right hand of the Father… He has already done everything and all we have to do is rest in His finished work!

Beloved, I want you to notice that every time God used the word “BUT” in the scriptures above… it's to speak of His Glory and His Grace and His Power to turn the darkest situations around for good. Next time you use the word “BUT”, instead of using it to limit His Goodness from flowing into your life, use it in the same way He does… For example… “My XYZ problem is pretty big… but you know what? My God is BIGGER!”

God Wants You To Walk By Faith, Not By Sight

First of all, thank you so much for all your emails (and facebook messages/comments) of love, encouragement and support… I didn't realize how much my email last week about my battle with depression in 2016 struck such a raw chord and resonated with so many of you!

Over the past week, I've been receiving and reading every single response from you guys (and gals) and it's so AMAZING. I had no idea that so many of you have been suffering in silence and I thank you for opening up, confiding and sharing with me your own personal stories of struggles as well as triumphs =)

I do apologize sincerely for not being able to personally respond to everyone, mainly because as you might know, this email newsletter goes out to over 128,000+ people from all over the world so I do hope you understand my predicament… but I just want to reassure you that I read everything that you guys send me… and I do appreciate them very much…

Now the reason I'm sending you this message today is because, after reading through all your stories thus far, I felt strongly led to share with you that God Wants You To Walk By Faith, Not By Sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

One lady shared with me how she was on the verge of suicide because she was trapped in a mountain-high load of credit card debts and that the banks were haunting her every day with calls to pay up.

I confided that I had been in a similar situation before and the best thing we can do in this type of situation is to just focus on the Lord and His word.

Psalm 23 says:

“The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me besides the still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.

Yea, though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”

Lord Jesus has already said in the scriptures through King David that we shall not lack. Yes, I know it's tough to believe that when we are in a situation whereby all we see are bills and debts and there's barely enough in our bank accounts to get through the next month. That's why we need to WALK BY FAITH.

We need to stop focusing on what we are powerless to change and start focusing on His Love and His Grace and His Promises.

Many of you already know that The Lord turned around an impossible financial situation for me years back when he transformed 5 figures of debt I owed into 6 figures of income for me within a single year. I want to share with you something right NOW… something that I've not shared publicly before.

Currently, I'm down by over US$365K in my US stock portfolio. And that's realized losses, mind you. Not paper losses!

If I focus on THAT, I will probably go crazy but I'm not going to do that. Instead, I'm going to focus on His Goodness and His Mercy and I know that He will turn everything around for me again, just like He did before… and He will do that for you too… whatever situation you may find yourself in now… If you CHOOSE to focus on HIM, instead of your challenges… If you CHOOSE to walk by faith and not by sight.

One of the stories I love most in the Bible is the story of David vs Goliath (1 Samuel 17).

In the natural, Goliath was this GIANT that all the Israelites were afraid of… All except one: David, the Shepherd boy.

Why wasn't David trembling in fear?

Goliath was much bigger in size and stature than him. He was the greatest warrior from the Philistines so in terms of war experience, there was no contest between him and David. But the reason David was so confident that he would be able to defeat Goliath and that victory would go to the Israelites because He was exactly walking by faith and not by sight! He understood and believed in the promises of our most faithful God:

1 Samuel 17:45-47

“David replied to the Philistine, “You come to me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies – the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 

Today the Lord will conquer you, and I will kill you and cut off your head. And then I will give the dead bodies of your men to the birds and wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel! 

And everyone assembled here will know that the Lord rescues his people, but not with sword and spear. This is the Lord’s battle, and he will give you to us!”

David understood that the battle belongs to the Lord… not to Him. He knew that “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31)

So Beloved, I pray that because of my message today that you will receive the same revelation that David had when he was up against almost certain death. I really don't know what it is you are battling now… It could be a broken relationship or marriage… It could be a financial disaster… It could even be a bad report from the doctor… Whatever it is, I encourage you to walk by faith and not by sight…

Believe in the maker of the universe to deliver you and restore you…

Beloved, No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper!

Today I just want to share with you a message of hope… to give you strength amidst adversities and to let you know that God will lead you THROUGH whatever situation you're facing right now so take heart!

Let us turn to Isaiah 54:17…

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

Beloved, I want you to know that God never said that no weapon will ever form against you at all. He did however say that they shall NOT prosper. Rejoice for He will NOT allow the weapons that form against you from the evil one to prosper!

If you're going through some difficulties or hard times right now, I want you to be encouraged because the Lord is with you:

Psalm 23:4

“Even though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me”

No matter how dark things appear to be now, you can always look to the Light of the world (John 8:12) and He will be with you and guide you THROUGH it all and bring you to a much BETTER place… a land filled with milk and honey:

Deuteronomy 8:7-9

“For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.”

Child of God, I want you to know that what the enemy uses to hurt you, God will use to prosper and bless you… for He only has good plans for you!

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you“, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Prayer For Paris

Beloved, I'm sure by now you would have heard about the senseless attacks in Paris that left over more than 100 people dead and many others critically injured.

Paris is a beautiful city that I've visited twice in the past few years and I'm sure I will go there again one of these days. I have a couple of friends there and when I received the news about the attacks, I immediately reached out to them to make sure they are okay.

One of them didn't reply immediately and I was so worried about her. I wrote a prayer to cover her as well as my other friends and the people of Paris with Jesus' blood. A few hours later, she wrote back to tell me that she was asleep. She and her boyfriend heard many sirens throughout the night but they had no clue what happened until I told her about it (They were traveling in Paris, taking in the sights and sounds and had no time for social media)… Praise The Lord!

God is good and I know He hears our prayers. I'm going to share with you the prayer I prayed… Feel free to forward it to your friends and loved ones. As President Obama said, an attack on Paris is also an attack on humanity as a whole. Let's not take for granted the peace that we enjoy. Let's look to Lord Jesus for our protection, peace, healing and restoration. Let's keep Paris and the rest of the world in our prayers:

Beloved, God Has Something Better For You!

I'm writing to you from fabulous Las Vegas AKA “Sin City”, where I've been staying for the past 4 weeks.

I just want to share with you a quick story of how our amazing Lord brings together people who are in need of healing to comfort each other in His name.

A week ago, I met this lady at Caesars' palace. I saw her standing by herself and I just felt prompted to go talk to her. Now this is not something I would usually do because I'm actually pretty shy by nature (approaching a stranger of the opposite sex is pretty scary, ya?).

We talked for about 15 minutes and she was sharing with me about her business and then all of a sudden she revealed that it was actually her husband's business and that he had passed away unexpectedly because of cancer and the business and 2 children were all that he left her with.

I instinctively gave her a hug to console her. She held me tightly. I said “You needed that, don't you?”

“You have no idea…” she said.

“Are you a Christian?” I asked.

“Yes…” she replied.

“Can I pray for you?” I asked.

“Yes please… I'd appreciate that very much…” she replied.

So I prayed a prayer of restoration over her and her children. I told her that death was not God's will. When Jesus walked on Earth, He went about healing the sick and resurrecting the dead. I told her to trust in God and His restoration and that God has something better in store for her. She started crying and I asked if she was okay.

That was when she told me that she had been praying to God for an angel to come give her some sort of encouragement… to give her the strength to carry on… to give her a hug… to pray for her… to let her know that everything was going to be okay. I was amazed when I heard this. She also asked why I ended up coming over to talk to her in the first place. I told her “Honestly I don't know… I saw you and I was actually hesitating whether to come over to talk to you because this is something I usually don't do… but I just felt this prompting to do so and I followed it”

Since she was so open with me, I started confiding in her as well. “I understand how you feel…” I told her.

“Almost exactly 1 year ago, I got out of a relationship that wasn't healthy for me. In April this year, I found out that she got married. And now I heard that she has given birth to a baby. All this in the span of just 12 months! Truth be told, I'm pretty affected by it. I know this doesn't even come close in comparison to what you went through but I just want you to know that God is good and He is a God of restoration and I believe that He has something better for you and me…”

“Amen!” she replied and hugged me tightly while we bade each other farewell.

Now, I'm not sure how long you've been subscribed to my email newsletter but if you've been around for a while, you'd realize that almost every week or every fortnight since the beginning of this year, I've been sending you prayers or a Godly message of encouragement/faith. Today, I just want to be really honest with you:

I actually wrote all those prayers/messages for myself as I had been going through a super difficult time. I fell into major depression after the breakup with my ex-girlfriend (This is the first time I'm revealing this publicly) and I needed some way of coping. Delving into God's word every single day helped me. At some point, I realized that the prayers/messages of encouragement I wrote for myself might just help bring strength/faith/love/hope/joy to someone else and so I decided to share them with my email subscriber base of over 130,000 people from all over the world (YOU).

I'm so amazed by all your comments and your email replies on how my prayers/messages were exactly what you needed. I give Lord Jesus all the Glory for this!

I truly believe in Romans 8:28 where it says “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose.”

I don't believe that pain/sickness/death comes from the Lord. I believe they come from the devil but I know that God will use whatever the devil tries to attack us with and turn it around for good.

If I didn't go through the depression and the pain from my breakup, I would probably not be able to relate to the lady who had to cope with the pain of losing her husband. I would probably not have written all the prayers/messages of encouragement and faith that I've been sending you too.

Everything happens for a reason.

My email subscriber base exploded after every major setback/trial I faced (near-bankruptcy, breakup etc.). I asked The Lord once why that was the case. His reply: “You are now ready to shepherd more of my people…” When I got the revelation I was like “Wow… Praise The Lord!”

I am single right now but I'm happier than I've ever been. I know God has something better for me and I know God has something better for you too, beloved. I'm standing in faith for myself and for you as well to receive the restoration in any and all areas of life that you need from Him.

If you believe that God has something better for you and you're ready to receive your restoration in Jesus' mighty name…

Beloved, God Is Not Saying No To You!

I have a message of encouragement for you today.

If you have been trusting God for something and you're feeling disheartened because you've not seen the manifestation of your prayer yet, take heart!

God is not saying no to you, he is saying…

1) Not yet… OR

2) I have something better for you!

Sometimes, we ask God for things that we are not ready for yet. Let me give you an example…

Imagine if you asked God for a car but you have not even gotten your driving license yet. If God gave you the car now, what would happen?

If you're not ready to receive something and God gave it to you too early, it might do you more harm than good. Always trust in His perfect timing!

Romans 8:25

“But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.”

Sometimes the reason for God's delay is clear-cut, like the simple example I just gave you above. Most of the time though, it's not so straight forward. Don't waste your time trying to figure out why your prayer hasn't been answered yet…

Just know this:

Joseph waited 13 years. Abraham waited 25 years. Moses waited 40 years. Jesus waited 30 years. If God is making you wait, you're in good company!

Hebrews 6:15

“And thus, Abraham having patiently waited, obtained the promise”

As you can see, God is faithful. When you pray for something, He will give it to you in due time or He will give you something even better! Would you join me to give praise to Lord Jesus?

God Wants You To Faith It Until You Make It!

Today, I have a word for you that the Lord has put in my heart. I trust that it will bless you abundantly =)

I'm sure you have heard of the secular saying “Fake it until you make it”.

You might even have tried to follow this “principle” before.

If you did, you would probably realize that faking it until you make it makes you feel really incongruent because you feel like you're deceiving others and more importantly, you feel like you're deceiving yourself.

“Faking it until you make it” is man's way.

Let me introduce you to God's way.

God wants you to faith it until you make it!

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:7 that…

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

As human beings, we tend to look at the current results that we have in our lives and make conclusions based on those results.

For example, we may look at our current bank account balance and think/say to ourselves, “There's no way I can get out of debt”.

If you recall my story, I've been in 5 figure debts before. If I walked by sight, instead of by faith, you probably would not be reading this email today.

No, instead I looked at the amount I had in my bank back then and I said to myself, “This is the current results I have in my life but this is NOT what God intends for me. God has a GLORIOUS plan for me. He's about to do GREAT things to turn everything around for me. I don't know how exactly he's going to do it but I don't need to worry about that. Lord Jesus will fight my battles for me and I will claim the victory!”

Within just 1 year, I went from 5 figures debt to rebuilding a 6-figures/year business.

I didn't have to “fake it”. I just had to believe (aka Faith It).

When you use my 101 powerful affirmations, I don't want you to “fake it”… I want you to “faith it”. When you “faith it”, you will begin to marvel at the results you'll start seeing in your life!

Mark 11:24 tells us that…

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, BELIEVE that you've received it, and it will be yours.”

And these words are straight out from Jesus' mouth, recorded by Mark for the strengthening of our faiths.

Beloved, if you're in the midst of a storm right now, whatever it is, I want you to know that God will turn EVERYTHING around in your favor… because He loves you so!

Just keep believing…

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”

Your future is BRIGHT. God wants to do GREAT things in your life!
